Order Processing Times: We are packing ninjas! Once your order is entered, Wise Owl Paint works super hard to have your order packed to ship within 3-4 business days! Larger orders, such as first orders, can take a few days longer. Sometimes Holidays, Promotions, New Product Releases, or Winter Storms can cause unforeseen delays. We are super impatient and hate delays too! Please know that we are trying our best to get your order out as soon as possible. Your order will ship via USPS or UPS depending on your selection at checkout OR the size of the package required. USPS normally delivers in 3-4 business days. UPS normally delivers in 4-5 business days. Occasionally, life throws a curveball and there are service interruptions far beyond our control. Perhaps a delivery truck broke down, or the weather has caused some unexpected delays. We sincerely apologize for any delay, no matter how minor; if we could do anything to prevent them, we would!

Keep your eye on your email! We will send you an order confirmation when the order is placed, then we also send a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships. Please check and double check that your email is correct when you place your order. When it’s extremely cold outside it becomes extra important to track your package closely so your products don’t freeze sitting outside on your porch! Watch your spam and junk folder as well; unfortunately, the confirmation emails sometimes land there.


Order Changes/Returns/Exchanges: Returns and exchanges are not permitted. All sales are final. However, if you have an issue with your delivery such as product damage, please make sure you email us within 5 business days of delivery so we can work our magic to have things corrected right away for you! Make sure you include the order number, the exact issue including product name, colors, and quantity, as well as any photos of damage (including any damage to the box) and how the products were packed/wrapped.

We are unable to make any changes to your order once it is submitted, so please verify the items in your order before checking out. We cannot combine orders or pull orders out of the queue because doing this often causes delays and costly errors.

We understand sometimes typos happen; if you accidentally enter an incorrect shipping address, please email us immediately so we can correct it for you before it ships. If your order has already shipped with the incorrect address, you will be responsible for the cost to reship and/or the cost of lost items.


Order Cancellations: If an order has not yet been packed, you can cancel an order by emailing We will refund the product and shipping costs minus associated refund fees.  Please include the order number in the email. If your package has been packed, but has not left the building, it will be treated as a returned package. If the package has already been shipped, we are unable to recall the package.



Returned Packages: Sometimes packages are returned to us unexpectedly. We will contact you to verify shipping address. If the shipping address is incorrect or incomplete, we will reship to the correct address or to another address of your choice and invoice you for additional shipping costs. If you are unable to contact the customer or do not wish to reship, we will assess the products and if they are able to be restocked, we will refund you minus shipping cost, associated refund fees, and per item processing costs.
