How I Painted my Mom's Oak Cabinets

Painting your cabinets can be a great way to update your kitchen without breaking the bank, but It can be overwhelming. Are you choosing the right paint? Are you taking the right steps? Well I am here to help guide you in the right direction. A few years ago my mom asked me to refinish her cabinets. I do not claim to be a professional, but I understand furniture refinishing and understand the paint that I am working with fairly well. I thought I would be up to the task, and it turns out it wasn't too bad of a job. Before she sold the house, she would receive tons of compliments on her cabinets! They came out so beautiful, if I am allowed to say so myself. The self-leveling paint that I used had a built in top coat and you can re-coat as quick as 45 minutes! I definitely think my paint choice made the job even easier.
